On Thomas Jefferson's Inauguration 1801Although the newly published entry will show up soon in this blog's feed list, I thought you might like to negotiate a handy link to a fresh post concerning the March 4, 1801 Inauguration of Thomas Jefferson (his first of two) when Sun was in Pisces and Moon was in Scorpio as it will be again for Barack Obama...3Sco23 then, and 29Sco45 on Jan 20, 2009 (29 = a critical or crisis degree.)
Between FDR's 1933 Inauguration and his second go-round in 1937, the US switched its presidential Inaugural ceremony to January 20 - so 'the leader' in a national chart (Sun) morphed from Pisces to Aquarius...from an intuitive Water sign to a mental Air sign. This changed part-of-the-masses Piscean presidents into more detached, distant, and science-minded Aquarians.
Jefferson's Inaugural Sun Pisces-Moon Scorpio blend for March 4, 1801 may be of interest to you so check it out here if you may:
Frisky Friday Art: Inga It's Thursday evening and things are coming down to the wire with holiday plans piling up everywhere I glance. Guess I'll publish a little Frisky Friday Art now so it'll be here for you tomorrow.. . ![]() 'Inga' a drawing by Jude Cowell 2008 from: Cosmic Persona Designs Art & Astrology: a new drawing occursToday a new drawing has been completed, Saffron Sees Stars! Appropriate enough for a Monday, day of the Moon.
Here's a partial view for you:
This rendering is one of my many attempts to combine Art with Astrology, study of the Stars, or as it is practiced in the West - the study of planets. Perhaps you've noticed Saffron's bracelet with the symbol for Chiron, the Wounded Healer archetype in Astrology - ruler of the Tarot, among all else.
In Astrology, Chiron represents the weakest spot in a natal chart (or other chart, for that matter) and as such, may become the strongest point. This is because the point of Chiron is where the most work is called for - it's critical for an individual's development.
Natally, my own Chiron is in Third House of Communications, so here you see my typing away and trying to pass on some useful info to you...you're a witness. Experiential Chiron says: "Be Here Now"...which reminds me of Eckhart Tolle's book, 'The Power of Now' which tells us that we are not our minds, and that there is another way of 'knowing' beyond our minds.
Well, Chiron 'knows' and one of the ways we may touch this 'knowing' is through prayer, meditation, and by using the I Ching, the Tarot deck, or by asking a question using Astrology: Horary Astrology, an ancient branch of the art.
Tolle says that to live an impoverished life has nothing to do with a lack of material things, and I do agree.
Scripture says of spiritual vs material things: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.
So put spiritual things first, and grabbiness won't be necessary!
Meanwhile, back to Art with Stars...

Jude 12.8.08 4:46 pm est Bill Richardson's Astrology ChartAt the moment, this article is showing up in the feed for Stars Over Washington below, but I thought I'd add its link in a fresh post in case you're interested in Gov Bill Richardson's natal chart with details:
He's a somewhat complex fellow with Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Sagittarius - and one good thing is that his birth time is confirmed by the AstroDataBank folk who work tirelessly to give us astrologers correct birth data.
You may wish to visit their very informative site here where you might find chart details for a person of interest to you:
Now, with Politics and Astrology taken care of, how about a bit o' Art? Because it's drawing time again...
