Winter Moon new theme: Art viewing available

Away from the usual black or charcoal background, I've chosen a new look: 'Winter Moon' for Jude Cowell Art, as you see.

What I don't see on display is the Moon, although I see the trees and the bright periwinkle background color. I like it but would prefer to 'see' the Moon on display, too, especially since on August 5 just passed was a Lunar Eclipse @ 14AQ.

Still haviing trouble with the feed not displaying here, the feed for my primary Political Astrology blog, Stars Over Washington. It used to display dandily, but now does not. Will keep on keepin' on so maybe one day it will reappear. Otherwise, check it out a few posts using Astrology to look under the hood of Politics at http://starsoverwashington.blogspot.com/  (and that's tough because there are So Many 'hoods' in Politics - of the hoodlum variety.)

Fatigued with publishing my artwork here because no one notices, or they never leave a comment, if they do. That's okay, of course, but it's just too time-consuming and a little like a tree falling in the forest that no one hears. Be that as it may or may not be, you may still view the drawings already posted here, including an Art SlideShow...just scroll about a bit, if you like.

And yes, I still blog at http://2hrsyulnvrgetback.blogspot.com/  ~Two Hours You'll Never Get Back~ and at http://judecowell.wordpress.com/  ~Jude's Threshold,~ if you're ever in the neighborhood...

Oh great. Fabulous.

Now I see that links are colored so light as to be barely visible. Perhaps I'll change the background again...if so, you won't see the trees or the periwinkle or...

and you know the spacing here on this blog is squirrelly, too. Sheesh. Maybe it's me. It's them, right?

Two Hours You'll Never Get Back blog debuts!

It is so very true: another blog has been created and published by yours truly. It's called 'Two Hours You'll Never Get Back' and it's to be found at this address: http://2hrsyulnvrgetbck.blogspot.com  so if you're in the neighborhood, do drop by.

Is it another 'tapestry blog'? Yes.

Does it have Art Images and Astrology and Politics and Cat Photos and news items that affect you and yours? Yes. Admittedly.

Might it be hosted by Blogger as are most of my others? Guilty as charged. Mea culpa, in fact.

So if you hear snuffling and squalling from a distance it's because it's still only a tiny baby blog, but do check it out if you get a mo...

I'd love to see you there!

And you may wish to scroll down a ways to my list of blogs for the 'Stars Over Washington' link - you'll find there the chart and details of this Saturday's Full Moon in Scorpio which perfects at Midnight in Washington, DC (5.9.09) - a Midnight Full Moon in spooky Scorpio...woo hoo!

This lady seems to be celebrating the soon-to-be-New-Moon of Feb 24, 2009, 6 Pisces 35. New Moons mark the start of a new cycle of activity and Pisces is a most creative sign, so get your Art face on, Everyone...and we'll need some new music, too!

The Art of Jade's Jungle

Thursday is Jupiter's day. Or Jove's, if you prefer. So what better day to splash up one of my drawings, Jade's Jungle, for what I hope (a Jupiterian word) is your viewing pleasure! Say Hi to Jade...

Is this considered 'erotic art'? Perhaps some would consider it so. Rather mild for that, don't you think? Well, I consider it Chiffonery Art!

Okay, well I'm signing off for now....real world jobs must be addressed....I can't stay online all day like you...actually, don't you have something else to do or somewhere else to be?

No? Then you could visit the new (for me) Art Community I joined the other day if you like...

Come say hello at Red Bubble where you'll find the most amazing Photography and Art galore (much better Art than mine, including digital!) and you don't have to join to view stuff, although it's Free if ya do. If you do join because you read this from moi, give me a shout-out there so I can welcome you, okay?

See ya at Red Bubble!

On Thomas Jefferson's Inauguration 1801

Although the newly published entry will show up soon in this blog's feed list, I thought you might like to negotiate a handy link to a fresh post concerning the March 4, 1801 Inauguration of Thomas Jefferson (his first of two) when Sun was in Pisces and Moon was in Scorpio as it will be again for Barack Obama...3Sco23 then, and 29Sco45 on Jan 20, 2009 (29 = a critical or crisis degree.)

Between FDR's 1933 Inauguration and his second go-round in 1937, the US switched its presidential Inaugural ceremony to January 20 - so 'the leader' in a national chart (Sun) morphed from Pisces to Aquarius...from an intuitive Water sign to a mental Air sign. This changed part-of-the-masses Piscean presidents into more detached, distant, and science-minded Aquarians.

Jefferson's Inaugural Sun Pisces-Moon Scorpio blend for March 4, 1801 may be of interest to you so check it out here if you may:
